1/10 chainwars FAQ where does the money go? Your deposit stays in a contract during the race. Once the winner is confirmed, that pool buys the new token on pump.fun or Pons. The tokens stay in the contract until contributors claim them. --- 2/10 what if my side loses? You can claim your original deposit back on the same chain. If Pons wins, the SOL pool is refundable. If pump.fun wins, the ETH pool is refundable. You sign a refund transaction. Network fees aren't refunded. --- 3/10 how many tokens do I get? Say you put 1 SOL into a 10 SOL pool. If it wins, you get 10% of whatever that pool actually buys. If it buys 1 million tokens, your claim is 100,000. That's your share of the purchase, not 10% of the token's total supply. --- 4/10 does winning mean instant graduation? No. Filling the Chainwars target chooses the launch chain. The pool then makes the first buy. That might fill part of the token's trading curve, or all of it. Graduation follows the pump.fun or Pons rules. --- 5/10 who decides which side won? The contracts record when each target fills. Two of three observer signers must agree on finalized chain history before the result is confirmed. This can take 20 minutes or longer after a target fills. The token launches after that check. The earlier recorded time wins. Equal timestamps make both sides refundable. --- 6/10 what if the launch fails? A failed create-and-buy transaction leaves the pool’s contributions in the contract. It can be retried before the launch deadline. If no launch succeeds by then, contributors can request refunds. You can't withdraw freely during an open race. --- 7/10 what gets taken in fees? CHAINWARS charges 1 USDC to open a race. The creator also covers setup and launch costs. CHAINWARS takes no share of creator rewards. Trading and network fees still apply. Creators pay their own quoted launch costs. Contributors pay their own transaction fees. Unspent purchase funds are shared back. --- 8/10 do I need the Chainwars token? No. Races use SOL or ETH. Our token is chainwars.trade (WARS), live on Pons. Holding it doesn't automatically give you a share of race tokens or fees. Creators need both wallets and pay 1 USDC plus the quoted costs for both chains. --- 9/10 why can setup open before final chain confirmation? Two network providers check the same Robinhood transaction. Once both confirm the pool, the creator can sign the Solana pool transaction. Funding opens after both pools are created and checked. If Robinhood rolls back the setup transaction, the paired Solana pool may stay locked until its refund deadline. Setup and operating fees are not refundable. The result and token launch still wait for finalized chain data. Faster setup does not mean an instant launch. --- 10/10 how are the funding targets set? Standard setup starts at about $5,000 for each side. Pick $1,000, $5,000 or $10,000, or enter another amount of at least $1,000. This is the target per pool, not a total split between two pools. Current Coinbase prices turn that dollar amount into SOL and ETH targets. Review both amounts before signing. Once the pools are created, those SOL and ETH targets stay fixed. Their dollar values can drift as prices change; there is no automatic rebalancing. Advanced setup lets creators set the two amounts independently. They may have different dollar values. Existing races do not change: Felicette still has its original 10 SOL and 0.1 ETH targets. https://chainwars.trade/docs/#faq
